What You Get:
-Display page pictures of animals (one print out of each real animal picture allowed per purchase) and finished craft example
-Template pages for printing in color or coloring in (unlimited printing for your children and students)

Materials Needed:
Scissors
Glue
Black Crayon/Marker for most of the animal letters (white crayon/marker for Cat; yellow and black crayon/marker for X-ray fish)
Paper to print templates onto
A background paper to glue the cut outs onto
Optional: instead of paper eyes, use Googly/Wiggle Eyes (small plastic imitation eyeballs)
Optional: Craft material to decorate animal (varies per letter of the alphabet), see material suggestions in listing photo or in download package

Instructions:
Print off as many templates as needed for your children/students
Display the animal picture on a projector screen or computer, or print a copy for display (one print out per purchase of each animal photo)
Display the finished craft example for children to have a model to guide the construction of their craft
Explain and demonstrate how to complete the craft
Children color in templates (unless they were already printed in color)
Children will cut out the templates(unless you do that for them) and glue them onto a background page. Some children may need help depending on their abilities and some templates/materials are more difficult to cut and put in place than others.
Optional: make some of the animal features out of craft materials you have at home
Optional: add other literacy elements to the project such as identifying the beginning sound of animal name, writing the name of the animal on the page, writing a capital and lowercase letter on the page, etc.
